Fried Amanda

This is going to be a short post because I am exhausted and sunburnt.  

Things I learned today:

1. My hair + convertible = me looking like I had been placed in a wind tunnel.  Those movies where the actress drives a black bmw convertible and her hair is beautifully flowing behind her is a LIE!!!!!

2. In New Jersey you pay for EVERYTHING- driving (tolls), parking, beach access, food (2 times the normal price) and my favorite one of the day.... "Welcome customers, if you have had a great day and would like a nice shower you can find them down on the corner for $3".  hahaha

3. The Jersey boardwalk lived up to every single stereotype

And lastly...

4. The sun hates me even with sunscreen.  I am now sporting a super cool bright red farmers tan.  



Goodnight world...I'm going to suffer through a night of wonderful sunburn.  Kill me please.

    well, Amanda, some of us are busy with our own summer plans and can't read your blog every day ;) But I do catch up! So this is my comment for you :D I just got into CO yesterday - look for facebook pics towards the end of the week. I'm glad you're enjoying work so far!

    Yea i'm way behind on commenting and I'm anonymous because i don't know how to work blogs (by the way this Andrea lol) and i was just going to say u need "kellyO" strength sunscreen, she wears, no lie, like SPF 70 lol. Miss you!!! Oh and I'm not commenting because u asked us to, lol but because I don't like when ppl say they hate the sun and a mental image of SB freshman yr is in my head where u and Ashley were so burnt and u took pics of it in front of the lighthouse w your shirts up lol
